Christmas Activities in Fenagh
A Christmas Fair takes place in Fenagh Community Centre on Dec 1st from 12-5pm – free entry, craft stalls, music and refreshments on the day with Santa paying a special visit also. 25 Cards continues this Thursday night in the Visitor Centre at 8.30pm with nightly prizes and league prizes. All proceeds to Fenagh Handball Club. New players welcome.

Maj Cunningham Pharmacist, Health & Wellbeing Coach will present a talk in Ballinamore Library entitled ‘Women’s Heart Health’ on Wednesday 13th November at 3pm. FREE blood pressure checks will be offered after the talk. Everyone welcome to come along to this free event.
Framing your Family History
Ciarán Mollahan talk in Ballinamore Library on Friday 15th November 2024 at 8pm. ‘Framing your Family History: How to research & construct the story of your family history’ is a presentation by the author of Long Lost Leitrim Family: The Keegan & Lynch Families of Mullinadara. Ciarán Mollahan will give a short talk on how to go about researching your family history, from sources of information to consult, to hints and tips in dealing with the available information. He will share a template for how you might construct your family’s story so that it is available for the generations to come. Ciarán will share some stories from his latest publication as he delivers his presentation. Ciarán published Long Lost Leitrim Family earlier this year and previously published The Flight of the Bald Warriors – the story of a rural Irish family at the turn of the Twentieth Century in 2010. He has had a life-long interest in family genealogy and local history. Free event and all are welcome.
Knights of St. Columbanus
The Remembrance Mass for deceased members of the Order of Knights of St. Columbanus: (Carrick-on-Shannon Council, CK88, which includes the Fenagh area) will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 19th at 8:00pm in St. Joseph’s Church, Leitrim Village.(Eircode N41 PY51) Former members and family members of deceased members are invited and welcome to attend this mass.
