Fenagh Blessing of Graves
Takes place Sunday July 27th after 11.30am Mass. Complimentary tea and coffee in the Visitor Centre afterwards why not join us for a chance to talk to neighbours and friends.

Carnival
Fenagh Events Committee & Quinn’s Bar are thrilled to announce the 2025 Fenagh Carnival on the August Bank Holiday (1st-3rd August) in Quinn’s Bar. Featuring great music each evening, and the Family Fun Day on Sunday afternoon from 2-5pm. The family fun day will feature a range of games and activities for all the family, an ice-cream van, pig roast and more surprises on the day. Funds raised from the day will be split between 6 local community groups in Fenagh: Active Age, Childcare Group, Defibrillator Group, Tidy Towns, GAA & LGFA. Hamper lines are available in Quinn’s Bar at €2 per line. We look forward to seeing you there.

Fenagh Tidy Towns
Our weekly work sessions for the Spring and Summer months continue Mondays at 6.30pm – meet at the Visitor Centre. Please continue to donate any bottles and cans with the Re-turn logo to our Orange bin at Corrib Oil. Thank you.

Fenagh Visitor Centre

Parent & Toddler Group (max age 4)
Every Friday from 10am to 12pm at Visitor Centre with full use of the indoor play area. There will be toast, fresh fruit and juice for the children and tea/coffee and biscuits for the adults during the session. The session is a great opportunity for adults to mingle, swap stories and relax while the children play safely. Whether you are a mum, dad, grandparent or carer, you are most welcome!

Open to everyone on the 4th Thursday of the month 24th of July 11am to 1 pm.

Mass on Mullaghgarve Mass Rock
The Jubilee Year of Hope Pilgrimage to Mullaghgarve Mass Rock takes place on Sunday 27th July. Opening prayers at 12.30pm in the carpark, Mullaghgarve, Mass at 1.30pm. Shuttle bus will be in operation from Rantogue Church carpark from 12pm.  There will be a film crew in attendance filming a documentary about the mountain and surrounding area.

Leitrim College of Further Education and Training – Courses 2025/26
QQI Level 5 & 6 courses in Business, Equine, Music, Health Nutrition and Food Science, Tourism with Ecotourism, Healthcare and Outdoor Activities with Sports Studies are starting in September 2025 in Leitrim College (Carrick on Shannon and Drumshanbo Campuses), under the auspices of Mayo, Sligo and Leitrim Education and Training Board (MSLETB). For more information, please go to www.leitrimcollege.ie

Mass of Thanksgiving 
To continue the celebrations marking the bicentenary of St. Mary’s Church, Gortletteragh,  all those who were married in the church are invited to the 7p.m. Mass on Sunday, August 3rd, for a special Mass of Thanksgiving, followed by refreshments in the Community Centre.  In order to help with the arrangements,  those attending are kindly asked to email parishcalendar23@gmail.com to confirm attendance. We look forward to welcoming  as many former parishioners as possible to this very special occasion.
