Community Celebration
The Fenagh community celebration which had been cancelled due to weather has been rescheduled for this Saturday February 22nd at 6pm in Fenagh Community Centre.
Fenagh Drama
Fenagh Drama wish to thank all who attended our recent play, “Johnnie’s Britches” in Fenagh Community Centre – we hope that you enjoyed the performance. In addition we thank all who assisted with this production in any way – it takes many hands to bring a play to life! Sincere thanks also to the many people who kindly donated raffle prizes. Your support and kindness is very much appreciated. Fenagh Drama extend best wishes to our neighbours in Aughawillan Drama, Aughnasheelin Yellow River Players, Ballinamore Musical Society & Ballinamore Drama with their forthcoming productions/events.
Orange Re-turn Bins
Fenagh Childcare have introduced the Re-Turn Deposit scheme at the Preschool and another bin to be delivered soon outside Fenagh Visitor Centre, to raise money for both services. The bin is located at the main door of the community centre and we would appreciate all donations towards it.
Fenagh St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2025
The Fenagh St. Patrick’s Day Parade will return to the village in 2025. The parade will start at 2pm Fenagh on Monday 17th March.
Fenagh Tidy Towns
Spring has nearly sprung and we are ready to get planning again for the year ahead. Our next committee meeting takes place Tuesday March 4th at 8.30pm in the Visitor Centre – new members needed. Thanks to all who continue to put their blue tokens in the Tesco Community Fund to help us in our fundraising efforts. We are also installing an Orange Re-cycle bin at Corrib Oil, Edentenny in the coming weeks to raise funds and keep litter off the roads. Well done to Fenagh Childcare and Fenagh GAA who have their bins up and running.
Fenagh Handball
25 Cards continues this Thursday night in the Visitor Centre at 8.30pm with nightly prizes and league prizes. All proceeds to Fenagh Handball Club. New players welcome. Last weeks winners 1st place John Gill, 2nd place Vincent O Rourke. Well done to Daniel Kane and his partner Annaduffs Maxim Gilmartin on winning their u15 doubles semifinal in Fenagh on Sunday. They now play Roscommon opposition in the Connacht finals this Sunday also in Fenagh. Best of luck to Katie Kane who plays in the U17 Connacht finals also on Sunday against Galway. Hard luck to Sophie Gallogly who narrowly lost out to Galway opposition on Sunday in a great game in Fenagh. This Sunday we will host the Connacht Championship Juvenile Finals U14-U17 in Fenagh. All are welcome to attend to see the best juvenile players from all over Connacht. Best of luck to all the Leitrim players

Parent & Toddler Group (max age 4)
Every Friday from 10am to 12pm at Visitor Centre with full use of the indoor play area.
There will be toast, fresh fruit and juice for the children and tea/coffee and biscuits for the adults during the session.The session is a great opportunity for adults to mingle, swap stories and relax while the children play safely. Whether you are a mum, dad, grandparent or carer, you are most welcome!
Ballinamore Library Talk
An interesting talk will take place in Ballinamore Library entitled ‘An Emerging Nation: Ireland 1937 to 1973’ by Padraig Griffin on Friday December 6th at 7.30pm. The Theme of the talk covers the period I937 with the Adoption of the Constitution by referendum to 1973 when Ireland entered the European Economic Community (now the European Union). Free event and all are welcome.
