Huge Congratulations to Fenagh and Leitrim Handball’s Sophie Kane who won Juvenile Sports Star of the Year at Saturday night’s Leitrim Sports Star Awards in the Landmark Hotel. It was a night of great celebration and recognition for all the hard work and dedication that Sophie has put in and just rewards for her 2 World Titles and 2 European Titles that she has won in the last 12 months along with all her other wins in Ireland. She now stands as World No 1 with her doubles partner. Well done Sophie

Good luck to Sophie Kane and Ruairi McKiernan who will represent their Club, County and Province in this weekends Gael Linn mixed doubles finals to be held in Breacach in Co Tyrone. Thanks to all who contributed in any way in making last weekends hosting of the Connacht Championship a success in Fenagh. We were honoured to host it, the standard was very high and we go again this weekend in the older age categories also in Fenagh. All spectators welcome. Good luck to all our players this weekend Sophie Gallogly and Katie Kane. Well done to Sophie Kane who won the U13 Connacht Championship in her home alley of Fenagh last Saturday. A very successful weekend for Sophie. Hard luck to Ruairi McKiernan and Abbie Kane who were both bet in a tiebreaker in very close contests in their respective age groups . Well done to you both
Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centrecontinues to act as a community hub to support those affected by the storm. The Centre opens Tuesday to Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 12pm-5pm for anybody needing to charge devices, access Wifi, get a warm drink or just a space to chat. Parent & Toddler Group (max age 4)
Every Friday from 10am to 12pm at Visitor Centre with full use of the indoor play area.
There will be toast, fresh fruit and juice for the children and tea/coffee and biscuits for the adults during the session.The session is a great opportunity for adults to mingle, swap stories and relax while the children play safely. Whether you are a mum, dad, grandparent or carer, you are most welcome!
Leitrim Fleadh 2025
Ballinamore will host this years Fleadh event from April 25th – 27th. Entries are now being taken and the closing date is strictly Friday March 7th for competition entries. Entry forms can be found online but if you have any difficulty please contact your music/dance teacher or branch secretary to get a form emailed to you. Branch secretaries and music teachers are the point of contact for collecting entries.

Ballinamore Musical Society – Sister Act Tickets Selling Fast
Ballinamore Musical Society is proud to present Sister Act – The Musical at The Island Theatre, Ballinamore, running for six nights only: February 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 26th, 28th & March 1st at 8PM nightly. Tickets are now on sale and selling very quickly. With high demand, early booking is strongly advised to avoid disappointment. Fenagh St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2025
The Fenagh St. Patrick’s Day Parade will return to the village in 2025. The parade will start at 2pm Fenagh on Monday 17th March. Thanks to our outgoing committee members for their service, and welcome to our new committee members for giving their time. We are delighted the parade can go ahead this year.
Community Celebration
The Fenagh community Celebration which had been cancelled due to weather has been rescheduled for Saturday February 22nd at 6pm in Fenagh Community Centre.
