Handball News – She’s Ace
Well done to Sophie Kane who travelled to Clare over the weekend to take part in the girls and ladies festival of Handball, She’s Ace. Sophie played in the 13 and under competition which had over 50 competitors in this age group. Sophie played her heart out playing a huge amount of games in the one day and reached the semi final where she just fell short.  A huge achievement for a girl who was competing and winning in the other code One Wall only 2 weeks ago in Holland.  Condolences to the family of the late Sonny Redican Drumroosk North who passed away last week. Also to the family of Willie Conefrey who passed away last week, Willie was a great supporter of our cards and was a regular player up until Covid hit, he rarely missed a night.  May they both rest in peace
