“Making a Will” Event
North Connacht & Ulster Citizens Information Service Leitrim will host a FREE “Making a Will” event on Monday – 15th April 2024 @7pm
in the Landmark Hotel Carrick on Shannon. This Presentation will be delivered by Justice Media award-winning journalist and legal trainer, Anne O’Carroll BCL. MA, of Cascade Training Consultancy. Topics include: How to make a Will, What happens if you don’t make a Will, Providing for children and vulnerable relatives, How to reduce tax, Taking out probate and other related topics. This free event is funded and supported by the Citizens Information Board
Fenagh Tidy Towns – An Taisce SpringClean
We will be meeting this Saturday April 13th at the Visitor Centre 11am as part of the nationwide An Taisce Springclean Campaign (weather permitting). We will be doing a litter pick around Fenagh and reviewing some of our Spring projects also. Hi vis vests available or bring your own along. Refreshments served afterwards for all volunteers. Our next planning meeting will take place Monday April 15th at 8pm Venue TBC.
Handball Cards
25 Cards continues this Thursday night in the Visitor Centre at 8.30pm with nightly prizes and league prizes. All proceeds to Fenagh Handball Club. New players welcome. Last weeks winners – 3-way tie between Tommy Flynn, Hubie Reynolds and Lorcan Masterson
Fenagh Visitor Centre Opening Hours

Fenagh Historical Tours
The popular historical tours of Fenagh have recommenced. The tours last 1.5 hours and take in the fantastic historical sites dotted around our beautiful village. Fenagh Parent, Baby and Toddler Group
Every Friday morning from 10am-12noon, join us for Fenagh Parent, Baby and Toddler Group in Fenagh Visitor Centre. With soft-play and a range of toys for the little ones, and refreshments for parents/ guardians/ grandparents/ carers. The maximum age for children is 4 and the cost is €5 per adult.
Yoga with Kate

Fenagh Visitor Centre – Birthday Parties
Our ever popular birthday parties are now available to book online. Simply go to www.fenagh.com and click ‘Book Now’. Birthday parties can take place on Saturdays or Sundays from 12-2 or 3-5pm. Darkness Into Light
Darkness Into Light will take place in Ballinamore on the 11th of May at 4am. You can register for the event https://www.darknessintolight.ie. This is a community event hosted by Ballinamore Community School. We seek volunteers to act as stewards on the night. Tin whistle classes
Tin whistle classes resume on Friday 12th April at 7pm for beginners and intermediate/advanced children in Sean O Heslins GAA clubroom, Ballinamore. Newcomers welcome. For more information contact 083 4835881.
Handball News
A great weekend for Fenagh and Leitrim Handball in the Connacht Juvenile B finals in Newport and Mulranney in Mayo. In the girls U13 doubles Sophie Gallogly and Ella Crinnigan won gold beating their Galway opponents in a fantastic game where the girls played great together, congratulations girls on the win In the boys U17 singles Jesse Marsden won his final in a tiebreaker, a fantastic game also , well done and congratulations Jesse and well done.
Leitrim also took home gold medals in boys U13 doubles and boys U15 doubles. God luck to the Annaduff players in their finals this weekend. It had been a great year so far for handball in our club with lots of medals and great performances so far. Let’s hope for more to come this year.
Good luck to Katie Kane who plays in Kilglass this Saturday in the qualifiers for the 15 and under World Wallball Trials to earn a place in the Team Ireland for the 2024 World Wallball Championships later this year. Well done to our young u10 players who played in a fun event in Clonguish on Sunday. A very enjoyable day out for them.
