Fenagh Christmas Events
Saturday 9th December 12-4pm – Fenagh Christmas Fair in Fenagh Visitor Centre & Fenagh Handball Alley & visit from Santa!
Thursday 14th December – Carols & Christmas Lights at 7pm in St. Mary’s Church with hot drinks afterwards in Fenagh Community Centre
Monday 18th December 7.30pm – Christmas Centrepiece Workshop – Fenagh Visitor Centre (book on our website: http://www.fenagh.com)
Friday 29th December – Fenagh Development Company’s Annual Christmas Quiz in Gertie’s, Kesh.

Fenagh Tidy Towns Calendar & Christmas Hamper
Thanks to all who joined us on Sunday for our Calendar Launch and Bake Sale.  The Calendar is now on sale at the Visitor Centre, local outlets and from committee members for 10 euro –lines for our annual Christmas Hamper are also on sale.  A special thanks to all local businesses who sponsored a page in our Calendar, Sara Andrews and Josephine Schwandt for helping with judging entries and to all those who submitted photos. Your continued support is appreciated – all monies raised goes back into community projects. 

Fenagh Handball Cards
25 Cards continues this Thursday night in the Visitor Centre at 8.30pm with nightly prizes and league prizes. All proceeds to Fenagh Handball Club. New players welcome. Last weeks winners were 1st  Michael Guckian  2nd Christopher Doran

Selton Hill Exhibition
Fenagh Visitor Centre is exhibiting a special exhibition about the 1921 Selton Hill Ambush. The exhibition highlights the setting, events and aftermath of the ambush. If you have time, have a cup of tea and watch the documentary about Selton Hill in the Visitor Centre too. Entry to the exhibition is free. This exhibition was funded by Leitrim County Council as part of the Decade of Centenaries fund.

Fenagh Active Age
The group meets Mondays at 3pm in Fenagh Visitor Centre. All welcome

2nd & 3rd of December at all local Churches, please look out for our donation boxes, or donations can be made directly to the SVP account in Ballinamore Credit Union, IBAN: IE49BLRU99224009342021 and BIC: BLRUIE21, or manually in the Credit Union to Acc No 9320380, we really appreciate your ongoing support. Our Annual Food appeal will take place in Tesco and SuperValu, throughout December with donation boxes available in store, or donations can be made directly to the SVP account in Ballinamore Credit Union, as above. We appreciate your ongoing support. 

A shout out for ‘SHOUT’
Tish Dunleavy’s ‘Sweet Spirit Country Gospel Singers’ will perform in St Mary’s Church of Ireland Mohill on Friday 1st December 2023 from 8pm -9.45 approx.  – Come and hear some great performances from Sean Mahon(The Rodeo Man), Pearl Kielty, MaryAnn McBrien, Peter Kilkenny, J.P O’Dowd, Saidhbhe Concannon performing songs like – ‘Candlelight & Wine’, ‘Abeline’,’Blue eyes carrying in the rain’,  ‘Oh Happy Day’, ‘New Jerusalem’, ‘The lucky old sun’, ‘Peace on Earth-Drummer Boy’, ‘You Raise me Up’, ‘Caledonia’ ‘Bridge over troubled waters’ and many more classics. A great evening of music and song is promised for two good causes – Main beneficiary Sligo Hospital Oncology Unit Trust and a donation to the Brain Injury Unit Beaumont Hospital. Tickets at the door €15.
