Fenagh IFA
The Annual General Meeting of the Fenagh Branch IFA takes place on Wednesday 15th November in the Heritage Centre at 8.30 pm.  A member of the County Officers will be in attendance. Voting for President and Deputy President takes place on the night. All are welcome    

Fenagh Handball
Many thanks to all who helped out in getting our alley ready to host Cumann Liathroid Laimhe Inis Oirr last weekend. To all who baked and cooked , all who helped clean and prepare, referees , scorekeepers coaches etc. To all the parents who brought the children to play and compete.  We had a wonderful two days and look forward to returning to Inis Oirr at Easter. 25 Cards continues this Thursday night in the Visitor Centre at 8.30pm with nightly prizes and league prizes. All proceeds to Fenagh Handball Club. New players welcome. Last weeks winners were a tie for first place between Kevin Foley and Padraig Mulligan

The group meets Mondays at 3pm in Fenagh Visitor Centre. All welcome

Coffee Morning
The Cherry Blossom Centre, RehabCare Ballinamore are having a fundraising coffee morning on Wednesday the 22nd of November at 11am. On the day we will also be having a bake sale,  raffle and our Drama group will be performing their short play “Keeping up appearances” . All money raised on the day will stay local.  We would really appreciate local support for this event, All welcome. ” 

Birthday Parties at the Monk’s Den
The Monk’s Den at Fenagh Visitor Centre is a great place for birthday parties. Cost: €25 non-refundable reservation fee (to be paid upon booking) + Option 1 = €12 per child (includes 2 hours of play, snacks, juice, kid’s meal, ice lolly) or Option 2 = €15 per child ( includes 2 hours of play, snacks, juice, kid’s meal, ice lolly & party bag). Hedge Cutting Grant Scheme 2023/2024
This scheme is now open and aims to encourage the cutting of roadside hedges/trees along the Public Road Network. Open to all, individual applicants, communities and groups. The Grant is €75 per km of the roadside hedge/overhanging trees which are cut back. Minimum length of road network per application is 1km. Further information and application forms are available from Leitrim County Councils website www.leitrimcoco.ie  or by contacting the Roads Department by e-mail – roads@leitrimcoco.ie or Telephone 071 9620005  Ext. 630. Closing Date is 31st January, 2024.

Congrats Katie

Well done and congratulations to Katie Kane who qualified to play in the Connacht Girls Team of 10 in the new Handball Alley in Croke park last Saturday. Unfortunately the team were bet by Leinster 122-100 points. This was a great achievement and a fantastic experience for Katie.
